The Enterprise Zone Tax Incentive that grants a refund in state sales tax on building materials is not just for businesses.  Many people do not realize that this incentive is also available to residents who construct or renovate a home.  To find out if your property is in an Enterprise Zone and if you are eligible for the refund, please call 850-973-3179 and ask for Sherilyn Pickels.

Please click on the attachments below for additional information and the necessary Department of Revenue forms needed to apply.  The original forms must reach the Florida Department of Revenue within 6 months of the date of certificate that the improvements are substantially completed, or by September 1st after the rehabilitated property is first subject to assessment for improvements to real property completed on or after July 1, 2005.
